The METAREA MARINE WEATHER serves sailing weather forecasts, issued by responsible Meteorological Services for GMDSS broadcasting. The application gives the access to general Metarea map, individual Metarea maps with forecast regions and individual Metarea forecasts.
The METAREA MARINE WEATHER covers most of popular Metareas. User does not need additional devices besides smartphone or tablet with internet connection.
App gives quick and easy access to wind and sea conditions without frills and decorations. Bonus: minimal requirements for network connection speed.
In case of fast inexpensive internet, dry hands, ability to find and explore different web links, all the information of METAREA MARINE WEATHER can be obtained free of charge by internet browser in "web" format via the WMO JCOMM site. However, web access at sea might be expensive, occasionally very slow, and not fit for gadgets. Good idea to replace complicated web pages by very small files (near 2kB).
